Standard DCA Doesn't Know the Difference Between a Dip and a Crash.

DCA and grid strategies measure price distance — how far the price dropped. Squeeze Hunter measures price velocity — how fast it dropped within a single candle. That one distinction decides whether your capital survives or gets trapped.

Fixed DCA / Grid Strategy

Price drops −5%. DCA buys. Drops −10%. Buys again. −15%, −20%, −25%… Five orders placed. Capital exhausted. Then the real crash hits — −40% in one candle. Nothing left to deploy.

  • Buys at fixed % intervals — blind to crash velocity
  • Can't distinguish slow bleed from flash crash
  • Exhausts capital before the real bottom
  • Capital locked for weeks → months with no exit
  • No way to backtest entry timing on historical data

Squeeze Hunter

Same market. Price bleeds −5%, −10%, −15%… Squeeze Hunter stays silent. Your capital stays dry. Then velocity spikes — delta exceeds your threshold. Now it enters. One precise shot at the acceleration point.

  • Entry only when candle delta exceeds your backtested threshold
  • 8 binding types filter noise — only real crashes trigger entry
  • Capital stays dry until velocity confirms the squeeze
  • Auto SL/TP cycles — capital recycles, never trapped
  • Free Calculator validates thresholds on 3+ years of data

21 configurable features, 6 stoploss types, HFT-grade speed — all designed to protect your capital while maximizing squeeze captures.

8 Candle Bindings

4 basic + 4 advanced bindings. Calculate precise entry deltas from previous candle data — mathematical precision no other bot offers.

HFT Algorithm

Buy deep, sell on the first uptick. Co-located servers execute at HFT speed — multiple trades within a single candle where other bots manage one.

Auto Restart

After take-profit or stop-loss, the bot automatically restarts the cycle. Continuous squeeze hunting 24/7 — no manual intervention required.

6 Stoploss Types

Percent-based, time-based, closing-price, cooling period, consecutive stop limit, and extra protections. Every stoploss scenario you can think of — configurable down to the last parameter.

Collect Assets Mode

Instead of selling, the bot accumulates coins during crashes. Users report it effectively "mines" profitable assets during volatility squeezes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before you start — common questions from traders evaluating Squeeze Hunter.

What is a Squeeze in trading?

A squeeze is a sharp price movement (up or down) that creates a temporary imbalance, followed by a reversion. Squeeze Hunter captures these reversion moves automatically — buying on impulse crashes and selling on recovery.

How is Squeeze different from a DCA bot?

DCA buys at fixed intervals regardless of market conditions. Squeeze uses price velocity on candle timeframes — it enters ONLY when crash velocity exceeds your calculated threshold. This prevents premature entries during gradual declines.

Is the Calculator really free?

Yes. The Squeeze Calculator is fully open-source on GitHub. No registration, no usage limits, no hidden costs. Test thousands of parameter combinations on historical data before risking any capital.

Is Squeeze Hunter fully automated?

Semi-automated. The bot executes trades autonomously — placing "traps," filling entries, and hitting take-profits. But you, the trader, periodically review performance, adjust parameters, and make strategic decisions. You are the operator.

What does the Calculator guarantee?

Nothing. The Calculator analyzes historical data. Past backtesting results do not equal future performance. Markets change. We recommend recalculating periodically and always using proper risk management.

What is the execution speed?

Co-located servers placed in exchange data centers. Practical record: 12 trades executed within a single 1-minute candle. Theoretical maximum is approximately 30 trades per candle.

Can I use it for long-term accumulation?

Yes. The Collect Assets Mode (PLUS tier) accumulates the base asset instead of selling for profit — you steadily build your spot position by buying the dips.

Which exchanges does Squeeze Hunter support?

Squeeze Hunter supports Binance and OKX via official API integration. Both exchanges offer Spot trading pairs compatible with the bot. No third-party bridges or aggregators are used — the bot connects directly to exchange order books for maximum execution speed.

What is the minimum capital to start?

There is no fixed minimum. The Calculator lets you backtest with any capital amount to see projected performance. In practice, most traders start with $200–$500 per trading pair to allow meaningful position sizing. The Free tier has no deposit requirements — you only pay when upgrading to PLUS for advanced features.

Which timeframe should I choose?

It depends on your trading style. Shorter timeframes (1m, 5m) capture more squeezes with smaller profit per trade. Longer timeframes (1h, 4h, 1d) catch bigger moves but trigger less frequently. The Calculator lets you backtest every timeframe combination, so data — not guesswork — drives your choice.

How does Squeeze Hunter manage risk?

Squeeze Hunter includes 6 stoploss types: percent-based, timeout, closing price, cooling period, consecutive limit, and additional protections. Combined with Price Working Range (restricts the bot to a defined price corridor) and Auto-Disable after N consecutive stop-losses, your downside is bounded before the bot enters a single trade.

Does Squeeze Hunter work in a bear market?

Yes — Squeeze Hunter thrives on volatility, which intensifies during bear markets. Crashes produce faster, deeper squeezes that meet velocity thresholds more frequently. However, risk management is critical: use tighter stop-losses and smaller position sizes during extended downtrends to protect capital.

Are my exchange API keys safe?

API keys are stored exclusively on LEXX servers and never shared with third parties. We require only trading permissions — withdrawal permissions are never needed and should never be granted. Even in a worst-case server breach, an attacker cannot move funds off your exchange account.

How do the Calculator and bot work together?

The Calculator finds optimal parameters; the bot executes them live. Typical workflow: (1) run the Calculator on historical data to find the best delta, timeframe, and candle binding combination, (2) configure the bot with those exact parameters, (3) activate. Recalculate periodically — markets evolve and parameters should too.

Can I run Squeeze Hunter on multiple trading pairs?

Yes. Most active traders run Squeeze Hunter on 3–10 pairs simultaneously, each with independently tuned parameters. The bot handles each pair as a separate strategy instance. Diversifying across pairs reduces concentration risk — one pair's stoploss doesn't affect another's open position.

What are the tax implications of Collect Assets Mode?

Collect Assets Mode accumulates base assets (e.g., BTC, ETH) rather than converting profits to a quote currency. Tax treatment varies by jurisdiction — in most countries, each accumulation event is treated as a taxable disposal. Consult a qualified tax advisor for your specific situation. LEXX does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice.

Is Squeeze Hunter high-frequency trading (HFT)?

Squeeze Hunter is not an HFT system — it's a velocity-based entry bot. HFT systems execute thousands of trades per second using proprietary network infrastructure. Squeeze Hunter uses co-located servers for speed but operates on candle timeframes (1m–1d), executing trades only when specific price velocity thresholds are met. The execution is fast, but the strategy is fundamentally different from HFT.

Can I try Squeeze Hunter before paying?

The Free tier gives you full access to the bot with basic timeframes and core features — no time limit, no credit card required. You can run live trades on Binance or OKX immediately. The PLUS tier (€29/month) unlocks advanced features: additional timeframes, Collect Assets Mode, HFT Algorithm, Position Averaging, and advanced stoploss behaviours.

Is this related to a Bollinger Band squeeze?

No. A Bollinger Band squeeze detects low-volatility consolidation periods. LEXX Squeeze Hunter operates on a completely different principle — it measures real-time candle velocity (price drop speed) to catch crash reversions. The name "Squeeze" refers to liquidity squeezes and short squeezes in crypto markets, not Bollinger Band compression.
